Description: All video segments are digitally stored and accessed on a Windows computer at the time of scanning. There are a total of 3 within-subject conditions: task, control and baseline. Task and control period typically last from 18 to 22 sec and are alternately presented, separated each by baseline periods of about 12 to 14 sec (i.e., Task-Baseline-Control-Baseline-T-B-C-B…T-B-C-B ….). Each task or control period starts with a task cue (“Would you do this?” or “Are there two children in the end?”) presented both visually and orally and is followed by the relevant video segment, and ended with a yes/no indicator on the screen. Participants press a button at this point to respond. The baseline period consists of showing a “+” sign that appeared randomly in one of 3 central locations for 3 to 4 sec each to capture participants’ attention and minimize their desire to move.
